In the spirit of Halloween, here's a drawing of Hellboy.
Hellboy is Halloween-ish, right?
Right?
The Big Day blog is a collection of personal work by a group of New York artists working together in the animation industry. We post both works in progress for open critique, or recent work we're simply proud of. After all - The Big Day is what you make it.
So I don't know anything about Hellboy, so this may be a stupid question, but what does the crown mean?
ReplyDeleteI thought Tito Puente was El Rey....
In one story, Hellboy is given a crown of fire, which he rejects. It's never made entirely clear what it stands for. As far as I can tell, because Hellboy is the son of the Devil, again, this is only implied, the crown represents his future rule of Hell.
ReplyDeleteOr I may just be making it all up.
