Here's a little sculpt I did over the weekend and finished baking today. He's made out of armature wire and Sculpey. He still needs to be painted, but I might try making a mold of him first.

"Dangle"

So Here's Dangle, one of the main characters of Matt 'n I's current (Well, one of .. we have many) Projects. He was originally being made as a Stop Motion Puppet, but I decided to just make him a pose-able figure...for self motivational purposes . He's made from a sweater sleeve, two t-shirt sleeves, some felt, Wire, epoxy, foam and Sculptie. I hand-sewed all his clothes, and even "embroidered" that little heart on. Octopus!

Me and a friend have a painting challenge going to try and get us to paint more. Here's my first attempt at painting in, oh, 2-3 years?
I got this strange octopus Christmas ornament late last year. It's sparkly and shiny, so I decided to paint it. Let me know what you think.

The final piece is 5x7 done in acrylic.

I'm taking a painting class again! Our homework was to do a 2"x2" portrait in oil paint. It's really really hard to paint that small...especially when you don't have any good small brushes.

Still not in love with oils. Watercolor seems so much easier....and cleaner.

We be Fasts.. and THEY BE SLOW" ... and to "Never Cross the Streams"
